    About the position

    As an in-house QA tester you sit within our Development Team and you'll be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from initial project setup and test plan creation, to implementation of testing and final sign off across two main areas, on-going product testing and one-off project testing. You’ll be integral to the success of our development lifecycle.

    On-going Product Testing

    Supporting our on-going development of products and services, this approach is based on fully documenting the test effort to provide control, structure and repeatability. You will maintain documentation that keeps our practical testing effort aligned with on-going development activity.

    Example activities include:

    • Test case design and execution of manual test scripts
    • Test management
    • Planning, strategy and on-going maintenance of test documentation
    • Cross browser / OS / device testing
    • Exploratory, pre-acceptance and regression testing
    • Issue detection, assessment, reporting and verification

    Example deliverables include:

    • Daily progress reports
    • A high level test plan document
    • Manually executable test cases
    • Issue reports logged in Assembla / Jira

    One-off Project Testing

    A highly dynamic approach using session-based exploratory testing techniques to deliver maximum practical impact from minimal test documentation.

    Example activities include:

    • Exploratory cross browser / OS / device testing
    • Issue verification and retest

    Example deliverables include:

    • A high level exploratory test plan
    • Issue reports logged in Assembla / Jira 
    • Daily progress reports


    • 2 years experience of working in a similar position client or agency-side
    • Expert communicator, both written and spoken
    • Familiar with testing complex, multi-lingual responsive and mobile websites/apps
    • Expertise in software Browserstack and other testing software
    • Experience of the Drupal CMS framework

    Knowledge of the following testing methods would be ideal:

    • Unit testing
    • Build verification testing ideally implemented through CI
    • Regression testing
    • Scripted E2E testing using BDD
    • Load testing - jmeter or similar
    • Integration testing 
    • Penetration testing
    • Cross Browser/Device testing - ideally using Virtual Machines (Browserstack) or dedicated devices
    • Exploratory/smoke testing 
    • User Acceptance Testing 

    Knowledge or use of the following languages/tools would be beneficial:

    • Wraith
    • Phantomjs
    • BDD
    • Behat
    • PHP
    • Cucumber
    • Selenium
    • jMeter, Blazemeter or similar
    • Netsparker, Vega etc

  • Mid/Snr Drupal Developer

    London + Madrid

    About the position

    • Min 3 years (post-grad) professional agency/client-side experience
    • Integral in the production of new client projects + the smooth running of existing ones
    • Part of a team of full-time open-source developers, reporting to the Technical Director

    You’ll be strongly proficient in...

    • PHP procedural and object oriented programming
    • Drupal module and theme development
    • Drupal site architecture, entity type structuring, use of Contrib modules etc.
    • Responsive theming, using HTML5 + CSS3, adhering to web standards
    • Working with Sass + Compass, or other CSS preprocessors
    • JavaScript development, using jQuery and other libraries
    • Working within a collaborative developer environment using Git version control
    • Agile/Scrum methodologies, using project management tools such as Jira
    • Working with JSON/XML, 3rd party APIs + web services

    Highly desirable...

    • Active involvement in the Drupal community, contributed modules, patches etc (supply your uid in your application)
    • Test driven development, use of front-end testing tools such as Selenium and PhantomJS
    • Working knowledge of angularJS or other MVC frameworks
    • Experience building multilingual Drupal sites
    • Optimising Drupal for better performance (Varnish, Memcached etc)
    • Knowledge of content distribution networks + cloud computing
    • Knowledge of server provisioning tools such as Chef/ Puppet/Ansible
