Following on from the success of Triumph’s Women In Making 2013, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed working to reignite the campaign this year. From strategy, design and development right through to execution, we’ve watched each of the makers showcase their inspirational business ideas. Our Drupal entry platform allowed entrants to create their own social profile, enabling them to give examples of their work and proposed business plan. Its functionality also allowed the public to vote for their favourite Makers.
The winner was chosen by Triumph’s inspirational Makers Collective; fashion designer Roksanda Ilincic; accessories designer Sophia Webster; founder of Nails Inc. Thea Green, and Fenwick Bond Street’s Buying Manager Georgina Coulter, alongside the 2013 Women in Making winner Lizzie McQuade.
We’re proud to announce this years Women In Making 2014 winner, textile designer Banke Kuku. Click here to see her entry. Banke will receive a £10,000 bursary, a years worth of Triumph lingerie, and a yearlong mentorship with each of our judges, plus the opportunity to have their product in the Fenwick Bond St store.
We’ve loved working on this project with Triumph, and extend our congratulations to all the Makers who entered.
