Objective

Armari had a problem with the look and feel of their website design, it no longer communicated the quality of Armari's products. Their original site had been built on architecture nearly eight years old. The code was old and outdated, however, the bones of it needed to be retained for their CMS system to work with their complex fulfilment processes.

Armari's brand had just been revamped by brand specialists Rorschach, the design of the website and the technology that powers it needed to catch up.

The Approach

Working closely with the agency in charge of revamping Armari's image, we designed an eye catching, suitably "hi-tech" website. What was once a flat, uninspiring site, was redesigned as an exciting modern web experience for Armari's loyal customer base.

Catch streamlined the existing ASP code, improving the site's speed and usability. We added a plethora of dynamic new features including; individual "zones", 360 degree interactive movies, in-game videos, "at-a-glance" icon based power usage and noise statistics, image galleries and an entirely new way of browsing the machines based on processor type.

Result

The website now compliments Armari's new branding and gives the company a prestigious online presence, cementing it as the no.1 PC enthusiast's choice. Within six months of launching the new website, sales initiated from the website were up 47% on the previous year and traffic to the site has increased 125% month on month.
