Objective

With one third of Executive Offices Group's business originating through their website, the aim was to make the web work even harder and increase business through this channel. EOG's previous website was built 5 years ago and lacked many of the key technologies used on websites today. Catch was briefed to update the website, not only in look and feel but also to bring it to the forefront of web design, making it search engine optimised and easily navigable.

The prime objective was to drive enquiries to the sales team. In order to do this Catch had to ensure the site was highly visible to those searching the web. Also, once an office location was identified on the site there had to be the facility to provide relevant information in an easily accessible format.

The client also wanted the flexibility to promote specific centres and offers as and when they became available. Finally, the site had to be designed to reflect the high standard of EOG's facilities and promote the centres in a modern, attractive and professional manner.

The Approach

1) Development
Develop a website that is highly optimised without compromising the design. Using standard SEO techniques in the build of the site to avoid the need for ‘bolt-ons' as per the previous site, allow for the site to be contained and flow maintained.

2) Drive enquiries to the sales team
A call to action appears on every page allowing the user to choose how/when they are contacted and to specify the product area/location they are interested in. This ensures the enquiry is sent direct to the relevant member of the sales team. All enquiries are also captured on a central database.

3) Encourage users to search through the site
The introduction of new features including nearby centres, area guides and Google mapping allows the user to navigate around the area where the office is located. Including a Flash map on home page also provides added search functionality. Users revisiting the site are also able to navigate directly to a particular centre of interest through the links at the top and bottom of the page.

4) Allow timely offers to be included on site
The inclusion of ‘promo areas' on each main product area and on the home page, updateable via bespoke CMS, provides the client with flexibility to promote key centres with availability and also advertise current offers and dynamically alter bullet points content.

5) Showcase the properties
To provide the user with a real feel for a building, an expandable image gallery is used for each location. This displays the exceptional quality of Executive Offices Group's buildings whilst most competitors only offer thumbnail images. In addition, for their flagship property – St James's Square – a walk though video has been included, going beyond the traditionally featured 360/virtual tours. Further videos will be deployed throughout the site in the future.
