Christmas Giving at Catch

At Catch, we like to make sure we give something back at this time of year. To help us do so as a team, we scrapped the traditional - and slightly cringeworthy - office Secret Santa in 2019.

Instead, we take part in two charity initiatives - Christmas Jumper Day and Kids Out’s Giving Tree scheme.

Christmas Jumper Day is Save the Children's annual event which raises money for children in the UK and across the world. Every December, we all dust off our most festive jumpers (apart from Gary, our Tech Director, who happily wears his all month) and make donations to Save the Children. We’re happy to say we hit our target very quickly this year.

Designed to be a fun alternative to the traditional Secret Santa, Giving Tree is not only simple to get involved with but a fun exercise for the whole office! Rather than buy each other cheap - and occasionally tacky! - Secret Santa gifts, instead we each buy something from the Giving Tree shop. The gifts are then given directly to children in refuge homes and other children across the country who are in great need, helping make Christmas the special time of year it should be.

If you’d like to take part in the Giving Tree scheme, you can do so here.

We're a "Top 100" agency

We're proud to announce that we've made it into the top 100 of The Drum’s annual Independent Agencies Census.

We've earned our 76th spot through winning some fantastic clients (some we can talk about, some we can't), growing our UX and strategy offering while creating exciting platforms for some of the UK's best known brands.

Jonathan Smith, Founder & Managing Director at Catch, said; "This is our 3rd time in recent years in a UK Top 100 list, and we couldn't be happier at this recognition for a great team effort. Being in The Drum’s annual census makes it all the more special as we're listed against other independent, owner-managed, agencies which we respect and admire"

The annual Independent Agencies Census is the most comprehensive study of its kind on UK marcomms firms. The Drum crunch two years’ worth of financial figures from agencies across the country to compare their performance on a range of financial metrics including turnover, turnover per head and gross profit.

Cameron Clarke, Deputy Editor at The Drum, said; “The Census is the definitive barometer of agencies' financial performance and it was pleasing to see an increase in agencies participating in our rigorous research process this year".
