What we’re looking for
As a Senior User Research Consultant, you'll step into a vital role with a clear focus on managing and driving UX research projects during a period of maternity cover. You'll bring a rich background of at least 3 years in user research that showcases your ability to lead projects, understand client needs, and deliver insights that inform design solutions.
Familiarity with a range of UX methodologies and the ability to facilitate stakeholder presentations will allow you to effectively advocate for the user perspective within the team. Moreover, you should demonstrate commercial experience in UX research, having navigated both client relationships and internal dynamics smoothly.
Requirements
What you'll be doing
- Lead and manage user research projects throughout the 12-month contract, ensuring timely delivery of insights
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, analyze data, and present findings to diverse stakeholders
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to integrate user research into design processes
- Create detailed research plans, including usability tests and user interviews, while ensuring participant recruitment and logistics
- Mentor junior researchers and help foster a culture of user-centered design across teams
- Proactively stay updated with advancements in UX research and share learnings with the team
